ENCOMIUM: "Warm, glowing praise. A formal expression of praise; a tribute"


"Encomium" is like a festival of praise for someone or something.

"Encomium" is made up of two word parts: "en-" and "-comium". 
"En-" comes from the Greek "en" meaning "in", 
"-comium" comes from the Greek "komos" meaning "festival".
